Salem, Ho!

Today I got a job offer from the pathology group in Salem. Mac and I went to dinner at Lucy's Table to celebrate. There we officially decided that we'll be moving to Salem later this year. After making the decision we spent much of the rest of the dinner discussing all the features we want to find in our new house - it got us very excited about moving. Next year I might even be able to throw a dinner party without setting a piece of plywood on card tables in the living room to seat everyone!

So now that the job hunt is finalized, I can focus completely on the next big event...

  1. Joel and Aimee's visit?
    Congratulations, Pam!
Remember: Kris and I lived in Salem for five years. Admittedly, much of our time was spent cloistered at the university, but we did get out some, much more than other students. Also, we've spent some time in the town on our own.
If you have questions, ask us. If you want advice about neighborhoods, ask us. We're willing to help.
(Also: Dave's law offices are in Salem, and he's quite familiar with the city, certainly more familiar than we are. You could probably ask him for advice, too.)
Three life-changing events in one year. That's amazing!

  2. I thought it was obvious that I meant a Martin Luther King celebration as the next big event!
And, J.D. I thought you were trying to spam me since I said I hadn't gotten any in a while (actually, the bisexual blondes and brunettes into bondage did try to tempt the Babewatch readers this weekend, but the temptations have since been removed).

  3. Congrats!
By the way, Pam, with titles like "Salem Ho", you're bound to get spammed!

  7. Yes, very well done. While we would have been friends forever wherever you roamed, Salem seems friendlier than, say, Odessa, TX.

  8. Sharon put me on to your websites last night. What fun it was to read the diaries--especially when I'm watching my juniors take their ITED tests. I'll have a good day. I'm also reading "The da Vinci Code." I see that all is going well. I especially like the pictures. Congratulation on the job offer. You won't have to move far. I'm sure Sharon is excited to keep you guys around. It's about time for my time to go off. What are Mac's plans for the future? Education? or a change? Take care. Tim
