Our little Monchichi is only making monkey sounds, but still it is fun to hear him make a purposeful "goo" or "aah" every now and then while he is staring off into space. Also, Mac and I think he is making a few bonafide smile attempts, not just the I-am-passing-an-incredible-amount-of-gas smiles. This isn't such a big deal for a seven and a half weeker, but not really consistent with his adjusted age of two and a half weeks - just one more thing to confuse me about the expectations for his development.
